Who We Are
How’d we get here, you ask?
Josh’s story starts in California, where he met his wife, also a professional athlete! They moved to Georgia in 2015 and have since had two beautiful children.
After settling in Dacula, GA, Josh started working at a big-name company and quickly became their top-performing air quality technician. As time went on, he knew he had more to offer. When the company he worked for was bought out, he decided the time was right to begin branching out on his own. Helping fellow athletes and Georgia communities improve their HVAC experience and air quality proved to be a very fulfilling role for Josh.
Champion Heating & Air was established in 2020. What a time to focus on air quality! All the learning, training, and experience Josh had gained became increasingly valuable as home and business owners started paying closer attention to the effects of airborne contaminants.
He’s since added four people to the Champion Heating & Air team, including his younger brother, Christian. So, how does a Metro Atlanta-based company serve all of Georgia? The team is spread out throughout the state!

The annual Spooktacular event will include lots of fun activities for families to enjoy. NADCA’s Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) is a world-wide credential recognizing knowledge and skills related to HVAC system hygiene. The ASCS program certifies individuals and those who complete the program may use the credential to market personal expertise. NADCA works with independent test development experts and industry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) engaged in the practice of HVAC system cleaning to perform a job task analysis for the ASCS certification. The job task analysis ensures the credential reflects the most current practices in the industry and properly reflects the knowledge, skills and abilities required for cleaning and restoring HVAC systems.
NADCA’s Certified Ventilation Inspector (CVI) certification was developed to recognize those industry professionals involved in the inspection of HVAC systems. CVI certified individuals are qualified to perform inspection of commercial HVAC systems. The CVI certification enhances one’s professional development and is a world‐wide credential recognizing one’s knowledge and skills related to HVAC system hygiene and inspection. In order to sit for the CVI Certification Exam, an individual must hold an active Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) certification. NADCA worked with independent test development experts and industry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) engaged in the practice of HVAC system inspection to perform a job task analysis for the CVI certification. The job task analysis ensures the credential reflects the most current practices in the industry and properly reflects the knowledge, skills and abilities required for inspection of commercial HVAC systems.
